Eberg made two mistakes in the shooting range and reached the finish in 36 minutes and 48 seconds. Ingrida Landmarka-Tandrevolde, who made one mistake on the firing line, was 4.8 seconds slower than the winner. The trio was completed by the French biathlete Gillia Simone, who made three mistakes in the shooting range.
