With counter-rotation in the semi-finals

He qualified for the German Championships in Leipzig. Enbrecht started the tournament in a pool of three. His first fight against the Cologne district champion Höynck from Bonn ended in just 13 seconds with a hansokumake (big penalty) for the man from Bonn. The subsequent duel against Niehusmann from Essen also ended prematurely after an Uchi-Mata-Gaeshi (counter-spin). In the semifinals that followed, Roman Enbrecht was unable to prevail against Henning Stoffels from Emmerich despite being in the lead. He lost after a failed throw with a hold. It didn’t spoil the mood, because the bronze was already secured with the semi-finals.

Club colleague Arthur Weber was less fortunate in Lünen. He was unable to assert himself in two fights in the weight class up to 50 kilograms and ended up in seventh place.
