when is the winter update released?

The January transfer window has closed for Europe’s top leagues and now players from Football Manager eagerly await the chance to manage their new teams.

Every year, the Football Manager launches a major update to update the teams and allow players to start a new campaign with accurate transfers and modern squads, and it’s only a matter of time before the Football Manager 2023 do the same.

Here’s what we know about the winter update.

The main focus of the update is on transfers: all trades made since the launch of the game at the start of the season will be included. This will allow Chelsea fans to have an almost entirely new game to enjoy after the club’s record spending in the winter market: the London club surpassed 600 million euros in reinforcements.

The fun doesn’t stop there, however, with the update also including manager departures and changes to athlete skills and potentials to reflect the progress of real players on the field.

There is no set date for the release of the update, with Football Manager representatives regularly telling players that it will be ready when it’s ready.

The FM22 update took place in February, 24four days after the 2021 release, but a week before FM20, updated in March.

It is important to point out that this is a ‘Winter Update’ and not a ‘January Update’ as it takes transfer windows around the world into account, and some of them do not close on January 31st.

While most markets close at the end of January, some remain open for a few more weeks. For example, teams from Switzerland have until February 15th, and both Bulgaria and Romania can do business until February 22nd.

A major release usually takes place in the end of februarywith a small update often released in March to add closing the few windows that have dragged on until then.

Football Manager has not been marketed in Brazil since 2017. According to the producer Sports Interactive and the distributor SEGA, this is due to issues of licensing. For a company to be able to use the names, symbols and uniforms of Brazilian teams, it must negotiate directly with the clubs. The same applies to image use of an athlete, protected by the Pelé Law (Law nº 9.615, of March 24, 1998).

It is possible to buy Football Manager legally in Brazil, but it is not a simple process. To do so, all you need is a Steam or Epic Games Store account. another nationality other than Brazilian. In addition, you must have an active international credit card.
