Weber makes a successful Germany comeback – sport.ORF.at

Austria’s handball team player Robert Weber made a successful comeback in the German Bundesliga. Two days after his commitment, the 37-year-old from Vorarlberg scored five goals in his Füchse Berlin’s 29:25 home win over HSG Wetzlar on Saturday, thus helping to secure the lead in the table.

Weber was only signed on Thursday for the injured Danish world champion Hans Lindberg. Most recently, the right winger played for Olympiakos Piraeus, before that he had been active in Germany for 14 years. The foxes lead the table three points ahead of THW Kiel from ÖHB captain Nikola Bilyk, who netted twice on Saturday at 40:29 over Hamm-Westphalia.
