Volleyball, Cus Trieste mathematically first

Mathematically, MV Group Cus Trieste takes center stage in the first phase of the championship: with two days to go, Senad Begic’s team secures first place and takes off again, in view of the next phase.

In that of Monfalcone, on the Fincantieri Volley field, a peremptory affirmation arrives: 3 – 0 the final result, despite the gialloblù team showing up for the match without Gambardella and Bellocchio.

The overall team performance, however, left no chance for the local team, who fought as hard as possible but never managed to win a set.

At Trieste, concrete team performance, with Roberto D’Orlando returning to his usual levels and finishing with 19 points: however, it was a victory for the group, with all the players taking the field and being more how precious.

Begic gives space to the setter Barazzuol, to the central Regonaschi and to the libero Salti, who interpret the match in the best possible way and are very ready.

Technically, there is little to report except a solid performance which bears witness to the positive moment in which the MV Group has returned: “Now we have the two final matches – the words of DS Messina – before entering the hot phase of the championship. We will have to be good at taking advantage of all the possible moments to break in the mechanisms in view of what will be the sprint to win the title and consequently promotion”.
