Venezuelans are proud to have organized the best Caribbean Series in history

“We Venezuelans feel proud for having organized the best Caribbean Series in history, for its competitive level, for the greater participation of teams,” said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

In his Twitter social network account, @NicolasMaduro, the national president also highlighted the importance of publicizing the “modern and monumental stadiums that elevate Caribbean baseball to the highest level.”

The Eestadio Monumental Simón Bolívar hosted 21 of the 32 matches scheduled for the event. State-of-the-art technology was used for its construction, which resulted in more than 35,000 seats, a lighting system with 800 LED spotlights of 1000 watts each, with a giant 800-square-meter screen and high-fidelity sound. All this, adjusted to the standards required by Major League Baseball (MLB).

For its part, the Jorge Luis García Carneiro stadium in La Guaira presents an excellent design and has 14,300 good seats for all spectators in two levels of stands.

It also has a restaurant, two waiting places for the relatives of the players, a new press room, a press box with 11 booths, among others.
