In the remainder of 2023, Holguín will host various national events, in various sports and different categories.
Currently, school and youth baseball and soccer matches are held in this province. The most immediate thing is the arrival in the city of Holguín, next day 25, of the Cycling Tour of the Eastwhich will leave for Las Tunas a day later.
Judo stands out in this programming, of which it was confirmed that all its national competitions will take place in the City of Parks, that is, the adult female (May 15-19) and male (May 20-25) tournament, youth and disabled for those ages (June 18-21), pioneer games (April) and school games and parajudo (July). The National Judo Qualifier for the disabled will also take place here (March 9-12).
Handball will have a seat in Holguin in the women’s school qualifying jousts (March 22-27) and the men’s qualifying adults (October 9-16).
Pioneer athletics and diving competitions will take place here in April (12-22). Softball, second school division, for women, will take place in May (17-26) and the eastern zonal qualifying table tennis for the disabled (May 17-21).
The taekwondo juniors will fight in Holguín (July), the same as the five baseball teams, a single category in their national final (November 10-15).
The women of baseball will stage in Holguin land, in the eastern qualifying zone (September 15-20).
There will also be soccer tournaments here (teams traveling) and matches of the National Baseball Series, among other competitions.
