Union of Río Colorado and a great start in the Federal Basketball League

With great authority, Unión de Río Colorado prevailed in its first home game against Guillermo Brown from Puerto Madryn by 81-68, valid for the fifth date of the southern division of the Federal Basketball League. The team led by Enrique “Kike” Moreno added its third consecutive victory in four games and joined the leading group in the area, to confirm the good moment.

The partials were: 28-12, 41-32, 63-47 and 81-68 and “Chino” Gabriel Sánchez from the Riocoloradense team was the top scorer of the night.

The home owners prevailed from the start, averaging more than 10 points ahead throughout the match. The biggest difference was reflected in the first quarter with the defensive solidity of the premises as the main weapon, surprising the team led by the renowned Marcelo Richotti, who never managed to break that barrier.

The coach of Unión RC, at the end of the match, was satisfied with the game played by his squad “This youthful team is making a great sacrifice and tonight we beat a great team like Brown. The idea this year is to be in the middle of the table, because we know that due to the economic budget in this area there are teams that are superior to ours. That’s why ours is going to be the sacrifice”.
