Tursan Basket offers the derby and sinks the Elan Tursan

But nothing was easy. The two teams were neck and neck throughout the first quarter. The Élan Tursan players were in front, thanks in particular to two 3-point baskets from Sébie and Lacaule. And, opposite, Darricau and the Fedensieu brothers were responsible for feeding the points counter, while Capdeville bravely played his score (14-18, 10th).

De Almeida struggles

Tursan Basket accelerated in the second quarter and, at halftime (31-30), the evening hosts led by a small point. They compensated for their chronic awkwardness on the penalty line with an insolent 3-point success. On the visitor side, De Almeida (18 points in the end) held the house.

The TBC now has three wins ahead of its opponent.

Jean-Louis Tastet

After the break, brothers Delseries and Minot made the difference, especially on this action which brought six points and two faults. Labadie and A. Fedensieu helped widen the gap. Opposite, the aggressive game of yellow and red was sanctioned, which did not prevent De Almeida from continuing his recital. On the other hand, Losson was completely off and Minot (8 points) dominated the racket. At the end of the third act, the Tébécistes led by 10 points (55-45, 30th).

From the feverishness

The last quarter was like the meeting: winded. We felt the excitement on the ground. The visitors put on the winning baskets but made a lot of mistakes, which Captain Darricau’s teammates did not systematically convert. But they kept enough of a lead to win (70-62).

In the end, the TBC, by winning this derby of Tursan, gives itself a breath of fresh air at the bottom of the ranking and seriously mortgages the chances of maintaining its opponent in the evening.
