Turkey earthquake: Former Chelsea striker Christian Atsu still missing

Sport is absolutely nothing in the face of such dramas. Two powerful deadly earthquakes took place in Turkey and Syria.

Of magnitude 7.5 then 7.8, the earthquakes caused very significant damage and caused chaos in these two countries. The toll is heavy because at least 1,500 people lost their lives on Monday and it continues to grow.

Many people are also missing. Among them, Christian Atsu has still not been found. The winger who now plays at Hatayspor had notably passed through Chelsea. Arrived in London in 2013, he had been loaned to a host of other English teams such as Everton, or Newcastle.

Located in the south of the country, the small club Hatayspor is also looking for its sports director, Taner Savut.

In addition, the Matalyaspor club (19th in Turkish D2) was very worried about their goalkeeper Ahmet Eyüp Türkaslan. The latter is stuck under the rubble and gives no sign of life. According to some local media, his wife was able to come out alive but the doorman still hasn’t heard from him.
