This weekend will begin the second selective Judo in Palmyra

Palmyra, Valle del Cauca

The Jigorokano group directed by Ramón López Ferrer from Indervalle prepares the sub-13, sub-15 and sub-23 categories for the second selective where they will be measured in a qualifying tone for the checkup prior to the call for the Valle de Judo selection. The ultimate goal is to find those athletes who will represent the Valley in the national games in the middle of the year 2023 that will be held in the coffee axisSimultaneously, the games for nationals will be played.

Jose David Miranda, who belongs to the Jigorokano club, left his feelings for the measurement or check phase: “We feel that we have a high levelof the six registered that we have, 4 have been champions in their categories. It matters the position in which we are, we must be among the first three classified”. The format that brings together several participants from the department is a selective one where only the first 3 will go directly to the selective or eliminatory phase.

The Palmyra coliseum will host the second selective, which seems to indicate that those who win this will face the judokas who managed to qualify in the first round. Later, the duels would be hand to hand. Of the six classified, only one will be chosen to be later summoned to the selection, where Indervalle will help him with 100% of the travel expenses.

The Valle del Cauca team will seek to revalidate its position as the champion delegation, after having achieved it in Cartagena in 2019, and martial arts do not intend to be left behind in this contest.
