February 15, 2023.- The qualifying process for the CONADE 2023 Nationals will continue this weekend from February 17 to 19 at the venues of Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cancun and Chetumal, when athletes from the disciplines of chess, badminton, basketball, 3×3 basketball, karate, judo, table tennis and roller skates, being the activity corresponding to the second stage of the State Sports Games.
The president of the Commission for Youth and Sports of Quintana Roo (COJUDEQ), Eric Arcila Arjona, explained in the current administration, headed by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa and as established in the New Agreement for Well-being and Development, the and the athletes are the priority, that is why we are working in a coordinated manner so that the athletes fulfill their qualifying processes without setbacks.
For this occasion, the qualifiers will have four venues throughout the state, distributed as follows: in the city of Cancun, the state chess tournament will be held, which will take place at the offices of “Cámara y Asociados”; while the sports of karate, table tennis and badminton internal control will take place at the High Performance State Sports Center (CEDAR).
In Chetumal, the state basketball and 3×3 basketball games are scheduled to take place, taking place at the “Nohoch Sukun” Gymnasium and the “Erick Paolo Martínez” Sports Palace.
There will also be activity in the “Dos Aguas” Sports Dome in Tulum with the discipline of judo; and finally, in the municipality of Solidaridad, roller skating will be held at the Skating Rink of the Playa del Carmen Sports Unit.
“It will be another very sporty weekend, other disciplines will carry out their selective tests and we are very excited to see our athletes in action”, concluded Arcila Arjona.
