This is madness: unprecedented numbers for Vincent Kompany’s Burnley

Vincent Kompany and Burnley had to settle for a point on the Millwall field on Tuesday evening. But once again the team impressed. The opponents usually run behind an elusive ball.

After the first half, Burnley had 75 (!) Percent possession of the ball. They played Millwall off the field but were unable to score. That was also the case in the second half, but in the end they had to be satisfied with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Burnley are still comfortably ahead with 73 points, 12 more than Sheffield United. There are still 13 matches to play. “This doesn’t feel like a defeat, certainly not,” said Kompany after the match. “The guys did everything they could.”

Burnley are now unbeaten for 13 games in a row
