They sold five thousand bags of rice at the ‘Fair of the producer to your community’ in Arraiján

Kicking off the 2023 agricultural fair calendar, the Arraijan City Hall holds the first ‘Fair of the Producer to Your Community’ in Arraiján header.

Starting at 4:00 am on February 16, hundreds of people approached the San Nicolás de Bari court, where they lined up to purchase different products, including the long-awaited rice.

Among the products most sought after by consumers were the plantains, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, lettuce and other vegetables, which are the main complements in the food of Panamanians.

Mayor rollyns rodriguez He pointed out that the first fair has been a complete success. “Our priority will always be to provide quality products at very good prices that benefit the public”he commented.

Rollyns explained that approximately thousand three hundred families were benefited from this important fair.

The “Fair” from the Producer to your Community” is a joint effort with Merca Panama, IMA, MIDA and other institutions.
