They evict peasant families from a property in Puerto Cortés

CORTES, HONDURAS. More than 80 peasant families were evicted this Wednesday for invading a piece of land in the Cieneguita neighborhood of Puerto Cortés.

“It is not fair that they evict us because we have been here for years and we have nowhere to go,” said a Honduran.

They evict 180 “invading” families in La Másica, Atlántida

A total of 180 peasant families were evicted, peacefully, from the community of La Jigua, in La Másica, by members of the National Police (PN).
