San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The National Police captured this Sunday an individual who had arrest warrant pending for the crime of murder for price or reward, from a member of the LGTBIQ+ community in the northern zone of Honduras.
The operation was carried out by police officers from the Police Investigations Directorate (DPI) between 5 and 6 avenues in the San Cristóbal neighborhood, in San Pedro Sula.
The suspect was executed a court order issued on January 30 of this year by the Unified Criminal Court of San Pedro Sula.

Death of an LGTBIQ+ member
It is a dealer of ‘delivery‘, 26 years old, originally from San Pedro Sula and resident in the same place where the arrest was made.
It is worth mentioning that the arrest warrant establishes that, according to the proceedings carried out by the police officers, the participation of the suspect in the death of Julio Andres Escobar Varela.
According to the investigators assigned to the case, the crime occurred on April 18, 2019, when two subjects entered the victim’s home at night, whom They took his life with a stab-type weapon.
The death of the member of the LGTBIQ+ community was planned and executed by the sentimental partner of the victim, who was captured last week.
So the suspects, after committing the murder, took the money and other valuables that were in the place.
Therefore, the police agents transferred the defendant to the order of the corresponding Court so that it can proceed according to the corresponding Law.
