Adrien Rabiot gave hope to Manchester United that he could leave this summer due to his situation at Juventus.
- The midfielder’s contract will expire in the summer
- There is no sign of a contract extension yet
- Constantly associated with the Red Devils
WHAT HAPPENED? The France international has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford, and 2023 could be the year such a deal is struck. That’s because Rabiot’s contract in Turin runs out in the summer and he can leave as a free agent.
WHAT THEY SAID: Asked by DAZN on his future plans and whether he will get a contract extension from Juve, Rabiot said: “At the moment I feel good, but I don’t know what will happen. The important thing is to give 100 per cent, then we will see what happens. I will speak with the club, but right now there are more important things to think about.”
BIG PICTURE: Rabiot scored the winner as Juve beat Fiorentina 1-0, and the midfielder is likely to leave the Allianz Stadium should the Old Lady fail to secure a spot in next season’s Champions League.
