The CNRA cuts the signal of the Walfadjiri press group

The National Audiovisual Regulatory Council (CNRA) has just cut off the signal from the Walfadjiri press group: radio and television.

Demonstrations broke out this Friday in the town of Mbacké where Pastef leader Ousmane Sonko went to hold his big meeting. Which gathering was banned by the Prefect of the said locality.

A resemblance maintained anyway by the opponents. Enough for scuffles to break out. These demonstrations pit young supporters of Ousmane Sonko against the police in Mbacké.

And Walfadjiri television, which broadcast these scuffles live, saw its signal interrupted by the CNRA, according to the journalist from the press group of the late Sidy Lamine Niass.
