For the second time in four years, the Chiefs took to the streets of Kansas City to celebrate another Super Bowl win on Wednesday. The atmosphere was festive, and the team members celebrated with a sense of accomplishment.

The players traveled using large red buses, parading under a shower of confetti. Head coach Andy Reid – who reiterated his desire to remain the pilot of the Chiefs –, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce are those who have the most reacted to the partisan crowd.

Mahomes, still wearing his WWE Championship belt and ski goggles, walked down to the crowd to shake hands with the fans who had come along. He also had a few beers and delivered an engaging speech on stage at Union Station.

“They said we were rebuilding. I don’t know what reconstruction means to you, but in our year of reconstruction, we became world champions!” he declared at the microphone in front of an overexcited crowd.

Kelce went there with similar words, he who still had a grudge against those who did not believe in the Chiefs this season. Mahomes’ favorite target was accompanied by his mother, Donna, who became the football world’s favorite mom in the days leading up to the Super Bowl.

Since the Vince-Lombardi trophy is not the Stanley Cup, it becomes more difficult to drink inside the object as so many hockey players have done. Kicker Tommy Townsend got imaginative by dripping beer against the curved part of the trophy into his mouth. Derrick Nnadi meanwhile walked around with the fruits of the Chiefs’ hard work as if he were holding a baby, giving people the opportunity to touch him gently.

Recall that Kansas City defeated the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 38 to 35 to win the Super Bowl on Sunday in Phoenix.
