Jaylen Brown of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Boston Celtics will not be able to help his club in the near future due to an injury and is unlikely to participate in next weekend’s All-Star Game. says “The Athletic” columnist Sham Sharania.

It has already been announced that last night the Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 106:99. However, the Celts also had to experience an unpleasant moment. Brown was injured in the second quarter of the match while fighting for a rebound when he was elbowed in the face by another Celtics star, Jayson Tatum. Brown left the game after the incident and did not return to the field in the second half.

According to Sharania, Brown will not be able to help the team in the near future and the initial belief is that he will not be on the field at least until the All-Star break. It should be recalled that Brown is one of the league’s 24 players scheduled to participate in this match.

If Brown does not participate in the All-Star Game, it means that this will be the second loss of a player in the Eastern Conference. It is already known that Kevin Durant will not participate in the match due to an injury. League commissioner Adam Silver will thus have to decide on his replacements, and Kristaps Porzingis could be one of the candidates for participation in the match.

An opportunity for Porzingis? Durant will not participate in the All-Star Game this year either
