Change of personnel in the coaching team of Alexander Zverev (25)!
He once formed our tennis ace, made him fit for tennis competitions.
Now it’s over.
Our best tennis player left from Fitness-Coach Mark Bennett (55/ex-rugby player) separated. His successor saw Hamburg’s second-round defeat in Rotterdam a week ago: Dalibor Sirola.
Another change is unintentional.
The Russian Mikhail Ledovsky (36), Sparring partner and third coach, does not get a visa for the USA and the Schengen area. The replacement is ex-Davis Cup player Tobias Kamke (36).
Starting this week, Zverev will start at the ATP 250 event in the desert of Doha/Qatar. The competition runs until February 25th. On Wednesday, Zverev will meet Scotsman Andy Murray (35) in the round of 16.
Then the Zverev fans hope for the German tennis star to progress.
