Six Spartans hires offensive line Dhiego Taylor, former João Pessoa Espectros – Sport

Showing that it will be one of the main forces of American football in São Paulo, Six Spartans announced the hiring of offensive lineman Dhiego Taylor, who played last season for João Pessoa Espectros. The player should lead the protection of quarterback Ramon ‘Mamão’ Martire, another great addition to the team for the 2023 season.

In 2022, Dhiego Taylor helped João Pessoa Espectros in the title campaign of the Northeast Conference of the Brazilian American Football League (Liga BFA). The team from Paraíba reached the semifinals of the national competition, but was eliminated in a very balanced match against Galo FA.

Taylor has played for several FABR teams, such as São Paulo Storm, Corinthians Steamrollers, Tritões FA, Lusa Lions, Curitiba Crocodiles, Cruzeiro FA and Galo FA. The athlete was Brazilian champion in 2017 and 2018 and played in the Brazilian FA team several times, including the World Cup in 2015.

With a large investment for 2023, Six Spartans announced major reinforcements, with highlights for the quarterback Ramon ‘Mamão’ Martire and the wide receiver Victor Hugo ‘Mega’.

Linerbacker Bruno Briizante, former Corinthians Steamreallers, and offensive lineman Kongo, who has played for Gators Football and Tomahawk FA, also join the team. Briizante was the SPFL’s 2019 Defensive MVP and also has spells with Mooca Destroyers.

Ale Sagaz will be the head coach of the team and will lead the men’s football and flag football teams.
