The Rouge et Or extended their perfect start to the indoor season by shutting out the Bishop’s Gaiters 1-0 on Saturday night in Estrie.
Mégane Darchen was the only scorer of the game, her second in three games. The Rouge et Or offense has now scored ten goals since the start of the season, an RSEQ high. Laval sits atop the standings with a perfect record of three wins.
In goal, Myriam Labrecque added the shutout to her record.
The match, of a high intensity, was punctuated by six yellow cards, including three for the protégés of David Desloges.
