Shejbal came to Teplice during the winter break of the 2017/18 season, but lately he has been troubled by injuries. The 28-year-old defender or midfielder has 87 starts and four goals in the league. “Honza performed valuable services for us, but unfortunately his health never allowed him to fully develop his potential. His contract at our club would have expired in the summer and precisely because of his numerous absences we did not expect to extend it,” said Teplice director Rudolf Řepka.
“We did not want to prevent him from transferring to Bohemka, which showed interest in him. They offered him a longer-term contract even though he is still injured at the moment. The Prague club offered the player patience and the provision of sufficient time for his complete recovery,” added Řepka.
Pleštil recently had health problems and did not belong to the basic lineup of Jablonec. The 23-year-old winger has so far scored four goals in 78 matches in the league. “We were looking for a player who can start immediately and is able to play from both regions, which Dominik fulfills,” said Teplice sports director Štěpán Vachoušek.
