Marcel Sabitzer is showered with praise after his first Premier League games.
The Bayern loan impresses at Manchester United with his calmness on the ball, strong tackle, intensity and fitness. Coach Erik ten Hag trusts the Austrian and has included him in the starting eleven in the last three matches.
With the returnee Casemiro, who has been absent in recent weeks due to a red suspension, the 28-year-old should form the heart of the Red Devils’ midfield and continue the somewhat surprisingly successful season of the traditional club.
Sabitzer fits into the Premier League
Sabitzer’s advisor Roger Wittmann is not surprised by his client’s performance: “Marcel is a top player. It doesn’t surprise me at all that he is performing so well so quickly,” says the managing director of “Rogon-Sportmanagement” in an interview with ” Sports1″.
According to the advisor, the ÖFB legionnaire is particularly well suited to the style of play in what is supposedly the best league in the world: “He loves this English hardness! It was clear from the start that the Premier League was a great fit for him,” says Wittmann.
“He’s an aggressive player. He does exactly what he can there. And that’s what’s needed there. We’re seeing Marcel from Leipzig again at Manchester United. I’m very happy for him.”
As is well known, Manchester United does not have a purchase option. Nevertheless, both the Bayern bosses and the Englishman do not seem to be averse to a long-term commitment. Wittmann does not want to comment on further plans: “We will see when the time comes.”
