The MHP giants Ludwigsburg from the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) are missing the top four tournament for the cup at the weekend and Jeff Roberson for the rest of the season. The 27-year-old American has torn his cruciate ligament, Roberson has to undergo knee surgery and will be out for months.
The forward suffered the injury on Tuesday in the game at bottom of the table medi Bayreuth (108:94). Ludwigsburg meets hosts EWE Baskets Oldenburg in the cup semifinals on Saturday (4 p.m. / MagentaSport).
