Sale of Anderlecht: Herman Van Holsbeeck refuses an amicable settlement

The former Anderlecht manager is one of the main suspects in the case of fraud during the sale of the club.

11 people and three companies were referred to the criminal court. All are suspected of having a role in the fraud carried out during the sale of Sporting Anderlecht to Marc Coucke in 2017.

Among the suspects, and not the least: Herman Van Holsbeeck. The former Sporting strongman would have admitted to having defrauded during the sale. According to Newspaperhe would have refused the amicable arrangements proposed by the prosecution and would thus like to defend his case until the end of the legal proceedings.

Christophe Henrotay, players’ agent and also linked to this case, would have requested additional investigations as to a commission of two million euros that the club had promised him at the time.
