George Russell drove his first laps earlier this week with the new W14 from the Mercedes team. The Brit hopes to be able to compete for the victories this year and perhaps more. Russell will compete with the competition with a striking new helmet design.
Russell rode his new helmet design for the first time during shakedown and filming day. Russell’s helmet will be bright blue in color for the coming season. The blue is only interrupted by a number of sponsor stickers and a few black areas. Russell’s starting number is visible on the sides and on the top. Russell also drove the last few Grands Prix of 2022 with a bright blue helmet.
