On Sunday the finals of the Regional Children’s and Youth Tennis Tournament ‘Guanajuato 2023’ were played and the entity’s rackets devastated by winning all the singles titles.
This tournament was played from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 February on the courts of the Britania and Campestre clubs from Leon and more than 200 tennis players participated.
The best exponents were: In the women’s 10-year-old, Lucía Zermeño who beat María Andrea Ramírez from Aguascalientes, while in the men’s branch Fabio Romo surpassed Jesús Ascencio.
In 12 years, Daniela Mendoza won the women’s final against Valeria Cabral from Aguascalientes, while in the men’s game Juan Pablo Rico gave an account of Franco Baeza, both from Guanajuato.
The 14-year-old category went to the hostess América Chaparro, who defeated Marianne Muñoz in the women’s final, while Pablo Ernesto Tovar was the best in men when he accounted for Fredel Novella.
Likewise, in the women’s 16 years, Denisse Jiménez from Leon beat Angela Esparza to win the women’s branch, while Luis Gabriel Pérez was champion of the men’s branch by beating Javier Alonso.
And in the women’s 18 and under category, Alexandra García won the final against Fernanda Muñoz, both Guanajuato tennis players.
In a doubles result, in men’s 10 years and under, the victory went to the hosts Fabio Romo and Jesús Ascencio who beat Leo Gutiérrez and Juan Pablo Posadas.
