PSM Makassar Enters the Top 20 Best Clubs in ASEAN, Persib Bandung and Persija What Order?

TRIBUN-TIMUR.COMA total of seven clubs from Indonesia are included in the list of the 30 best clubs in ASEAN.

Of the 30 clubs on the list of the best clubs in ASEAN, PSM Makassar is in 20th place.

The ranking was announced on the Opta statistics page, Thursday (23/2/2023).

According to the Opta Power Ranking, Thai League clubs occupy multiple positions in the top 10 with high scores.

Thailand has five clubs in the top 10 namely Buriram United, Bangkok United, BG Pathum United, Chiangrai United and Muangthong United.

Defending Thai League champion Buriram United took first place with a rating evaluation index of 73.3.

Then the second place after Buriram United belongs to the Malaysian Super League champion, Johor Darul Ta’zim (72.2).

Defending Vietnam League champions Hanoi FC is ranked third on the list with a rating of 68.7.

Meanwhile, Persib Bandung is the only Indonesian club to make the top 10 on the list.

The club nicknamed Maung Bandung is ranked 8th with a rating of 64.6.

But for the world ranking, the club from the city of Bandung is only ranked 1726th in the world.

In the top 30 in Southeast Asia, Indonesia still has six other clubs apart from Persib Bandung.

The Indonesian club with the best ranking after Persib Bandung is Bali United which is ranked 18th.

After that, they were followed by Borneo FC in 19th place, PSM Makassar (20th), and Persebaya Surabaya (21st).
