Proliga 2023 Final Four: Losing 2 Times, Ratri Wulandari Hasn’t Thrown the Towel About Jakarta BIN’s Opportunities to Pass

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The captain of the Jakarta BIN team, Ratri Wulandari, has not given up hope about the opportunity to qualify for the Proliga 2023 grand final, even though they have lost twice in matches final four being lived.

Jakarta BIN took a beating when it struggled to recover from defeat. They were defeated 1-3 by Jakarta Pertamina Fastron in the last match of the final four of the first series at the Tri Dharma Gresik Sports Hall, Sunday, 26 February 2023.

It was Jakarta BIN’s second defeat in the Gresik series. Previously they also lost 2-3 to Bandung Bjb Tandamata.



Ratri Wulandari said that two defeats in the first series of the top four round in Gresik had not closed her team’s chances of reaching the grand final. However, he admits that the next struggle will be very difficult.

“Indeed, there is a slight physical fatigue factor, including our two foreign players. However, we will still strive to achieve maximum results in the next match,” said the national team player.

The two defeats put Jakarta BIN in fourth place in the Proliga 2023 final four standings. They scored 1 point out of 2 matches, below Bandung Bjb (4 points), Gresik Petrokimia Putra (4), and Pertamina Fastron (3).

In the second series of the final four, which will take place in Semarang, Jakarta BIN will appear twice. They will face Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk Indonesia on Thursday, 2 March 2023. After that, it will be Bandung Bjb’s turn to be their opponent again, on Saturday, 4 March 2023.

If they lose in one of the two matches in the second series, it will be very difficult for Jakarta BIN to qualify for the grand final which will take place in Yogyakarta on March 18 2023.
