Arrival of the fifth : 8 – 6 – 12 – 13 – 11
Forty-eight hours after the Prix de France and the success of Ampia Mede SM, the fifth of the day also took the 2,100m course of the main track with a start given using the autostart. Reserved for 4-year-old colts and geldings, who have not won 25,000 euros, this speed test has returned to Jovial Haufor (No. 8) to the delight of his trainer, Christian Bigeon, who won his second quinté in two days: “Lastly, my resident could have won. I had asked Damien (Bonne) to wait and come and finish. He has benefited from a good journey and this colt continues to progress. ”
After leading the race, Jigsaw d’Amour (n°6) gave the impression for a long time of being able to carry out its task before suffering the thrust of the winner in the last hectometre. Constantly well placed behind the backs of the animators, Pride Jackpot (n°12) took third place and overtook Cayeu Jet (n°13), author of a beautiful final effort. The fifth is completed by Jicomte (n°11) which narrowly fails for a better ranking.
To note that Jacar de las Dives (n°1) was disqualified in the descent, imitated in the ascent by Joker Thourjan (#4) and Jerry Boy (n°7).
