The volunteers of the Sporting Club Plaisance (SCP) Martial Arts section enthusiastically organized the traditional judo competition, after two years of absence due to the covid viral epidemic. The Jules Verne gymnasium, transformed for the occasion into a gigantic tatami, welcomed more than 600 judokas from 46 clubs in the Occitanie region. All day the fights were linked, highlighting the beginnings of the mini-chicks, the performances of the juniors and seniors as well as the work of the sports educators of all the clubs represented. The public had come in large numbers to also attend the “trophy of the kings” the junior and senior competition in all weight categories. Results for the girls judokas, 1st Agathe Martin of the “judo club of Mazades” and 2nd Fantine Rollet of the club “Atmosphere judo” two Toulouse clubs. For the boys, the victory goes to Thomas Lamy of the “Ours judo club” in Grisolles, the beautiful 2nd place Rémi Soulié of the SCP Martial Arts and 3rd tied Maxime Alliot of the SCP Martial Arts and Aslam Youssoupor of the “Ours judo club” At the end of day a ranking by point gives the 1st place to the clubs of the “Ours judo club” 2nd to the SCP Martial Arts and 3rd to the “Balma St Exupéry 31”.
