Pablo Gámez, a member of the Leganés Badminton Club, achieved his first medal in the TOP TTR of Madrid under 15-17. According to the club itself “after a few years of training, effort, perseverance and sacrifice, he reaps the rewards.”
The author of this feat he hung, along with his doubles partner Mario Guerrero, the silver medal in DM sub15. Pablo maintains a high level in the last tournaments in which he has participated. In the IM modality he could not get past the group stage.
Participants
In addition to those mentioned, Carmen Sánchez, Nuria Herranz, Claudia Bernaldo and Miguel Sanz participated. All of them, except Carmen, participated individually and in some modality of doubles. Very good results on a personal level, with great games, but without the prize of going through the group stage, although they were very close.
Premiere
In the sub17 category, Edison Vaca and Aitor García participated, the latter making his debut in official competition. They did it individually and forming a doubles pair, with no luck getting past the group stage, but like their U15 teammates, they stood up to their rivals.
