Nagano owed us the hell • RESPECT

As Karel May well knew and described, the Indians sat around the campfires and told each other great stories that their tribe had experienced in the past. In our times and latitude, campfires have been replaced by television, but the telling of famous stories persists even among the local natives. One of the most famous ones that everyone knows is called Nagano.

Last week, twenty-five years passed since the great victory of the Czech hockey players at the Olympics in this Japanese city, and the Czechs enjoyed the anniversary. The television showed a recording of all the matches, the main actors came to the radio studio to reminisce, and crowds of people shared on social networks how they experienced the first time in the tournament of the century.
