The Moroccan player will not play for the Parisian team because the ‘blues’ purposely sent the wrong documentation up to three times to torpedo the operation

Monumental mess for the non-signing of Hakim Ziyech by PSG. The Moroccan midfielder from Chelsea, who was in Paris this Tuesday undergoing a medical examination and in the absence of the signature to close his loan until the end of the season, will finally not play in France. According to Bruno Salomon, a journalist for Radio France, the London team sent the documentation to PSG up to three times in error, with the sole objective of hindering the operation at the last minute.

The Parisian team, very upset with Chelsea’s way of acting, denounced the facts before the French league commission, which met this Wednesday morning to decide whether or not to accept the Moroccan’s loan to PSG, due to the malpractice of the London team. Finally, the commission has rejected the appeal of the Parisian team and Ziyech will continue playing in the Premier.

Chelsea has been the main protagonist of the winter market, spending more than 300 million euros on players like Enzo Fernández, Mykaylo Mudryk or Benoit Badiashile. Precisely for this reason, the London team would be obliged to let players leave so that their salary limit was not compromised. The sale of Jorginho to Arsenal is not enough and the operation of Ziyech to PSG saved the ‘blue’ team the important chip that the Moroccan has, but in the end it will not be like that.

It is not the first time that an event of this nature has occurred on the last day of the market. David De Gea did not sign for Real Madrid in 2015 because Manchester United sent the signed documentation three minutes after the deadline. Filip Kostić, a footballer for Eintracht Frankfurt, recently did not sign with Lazio because the German team gave the Roman team a false email address so that the signing would not take place.
