Media – CANAL+ unveils its new features for the 2023 padel season (including a new PADEL+ channel)

For this year 2023, the padel will continue to take up space on the antennas of the CANAL + group.

In total, 31 tournaments will thus be broadcast on CANAL+, CANAL+SPORT 360 and PADEL+, new channel which will allow you to follow even more matches live with in particular the quarter-finals in full. A rich program pending a possible rapprochement between the two broadcast circuits, the World Padel Tour and Premier Padelfollowing recent announcements.

To bring this 2023 padel season to life for CANAL+ subscribersthe editorial team will be made up of Lyès Houhou, Sebastien Heulot, Mathilde Brun, Charlotte Gabas and consultants Laura Clergue, Robin Haziza and Adrien Maigret.

In addition to the new PADEL+ channel, another novelty should be highlighted for this 2023 season with free-to-air broadcasting of certain matches. Every Friday, the CANAL+SPORT Youtube channel will offer live broadcasts of the ¼ finals of each tournament.

As a reminder, 2 tournaments are scheduled in France with le Human Padel Open (World Padel Tour) in Toulouse from June 16 to 18 and the Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major (Premier Padel) which is moved from September 7 to 10 after a first edition organized in July.

In addition to the live competitions, CANAL+ will also offer the “Padel Club” program. First meeting on Thursday February 23 at 9 p.m. on CANAL+SPORT 360. On the program, reports, interviews and guests for a complete presentation of the 2023 season.

FIRST TOURNAMENT OF THE SEASON

From February 24 to 26 with the Abu Dhabi Master (World Padel Tour)

The ¼ finals Friday 24 from 7 a.m. on CANAL+SPORT 360
Simultaneously on PADEL+ (multisport channel).

The ½ finals on Saturday 25 from 7 a.m. on CANAL+SPORT 360

The Finals on Sunday 26 from 3 p.m. on CANAL+SPORT 360

Arnaud Di Pasquale, director of padel at the French Tennis Federation, will be invited
on a tray.

THROUGHOUT THE SEASON

Throughout the season, reports will be offered in the various multisport broadcasts of the CANAL+ channels: Canal Sports Club, Late Sport 360 and on INFOSPORT+.
