Marcos Alonso and Ángel Alarcón enter the squad for Villarreal-Barça

FC Barcelona defender Marcos Alonso has returned to training after the death of his father and has entered the team’s squad for the LaLiga Santander matchday 21 match this Sunday against Villarreal at the Estadio de la Cerámica (9:00 p.m.), in which the forward of the subsidiary Ángel Alarcón will also be present.

Marcos Alonso participated in this Saturday’s session after being absent for several days due to the death of his father, former Barça player Marcos Alonso Peña. Striker Estanis Pedrola and midfielder Marc Casadó, both from Barça Atlètic, as well as the youthful Ángel Alarcón, the only one of them who finally made the squad, were also present at this last training session on the Tito Vilanova pitch.

Xavi Hernández will have all the first-team players with the exception of midfielder Sergio Busquets, with a sprained ankle, and French striker Ousmane Dembélé, who is suffering from an anterior rectus injury.

The list of 21 footballers is made up of Ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, Gavi, Pedri, Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, Iñaki Peña, Christensen, Marcos Alonso, Jordi Alba, Kessié, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie de Jong, Raphinha, Koundé, Eric Garcia, Balde, Pablo Torre, Arnau Tenas and Ángel Alarcón.
