In the post-qualification interview, Pep Guardiola spoke about his frustration over losing the match

– It’s disappointing, obviously. We came here to get the three points and get a result in this stadium like we’ve never had before. We move on now, we move on to the next game and try to play a match that we know we can play – said the coach.

Guardiola also commented on the situation of the team, which is vice-leader of the Premier League, but is experiencing an irregular phase in the competition: “It’s a process. The coach demands a lot and the way we play is unique. Erling has been fantastic, nobody has said anything when he was scoring goals, but now we are questioning him,” he said.
