INDOSPORT.COM – The men’s doubles coach, Herry IP, leaked the terrible skills of Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin so that they could become champions at the Thailand Masters 2023.
Leo/Daniel have just won back to back titles after winning the Thailand Masters 2023 on Sunday (5/2/23).
The pair, nicknamed The Babibies, won over Chinese Taipei representatives, Su Ching Heng/Ye Hong Wei in two straight games with a score of 21-16 and 21-17 in the final of the BWF Super 300 event.
Leo/Daniel’s victory was warmly welcomed by the Indonesian people. This is because this is his second title in a row after previously also winning the 2023 Indonesia Masters home tournament.
Despite the success of winning two back to back titles at the Indonesia Masters and Thailand Masters, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin continues to receive evaluation from Herry IP as the coach.
The coach, who is familiarly called Coach Naga Api, also gave a number of evaluations, both praise, suggestions and criticism, for Indonesian men’s doubles players, including Leo/Daniel.
Launching the official PBSI release, Herry IP bluntly said that actually The Babies’ game was not that good.
The reason is, the young Indonesian men’s doubles pair were not in their best performance when they appeared in Thailand, moreover they have also participated in four tournaments in a row this January.
“In general, Leo/Daniel’s performance at the Thailand Masters was not that great. His condition has not really fit since he won the Indonesia Masters last. Moreover, this is the fourth tournament in a row that Leo/Daniel must participate in,” said Herry IP.
However, Herry IP said that Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin had extraordinary skills that helped them win the Thailand Masters 2023 title.

Furthermore, Herry IP said that even though he was not in good shape, there were things that could make Leo/Daniel win the Thailand Masters 2023.
That is, the key to victory is that Leo/Daniel can make their appearance more varied and calm, aka not in a hurry when competing.
“Their appearance is even more varied. Can be calmer and able to control the game. Daniel also doesn’t have to play hard all the time,” said Herry IP.
This also allowed Leo/Daniel to play two strategies at the same time when they appeared at the Thailand Masters 2023 final yesterday.
“Leo/Daniel continues to sell smashes. So they at the Thailand Masters can play in two different game tactics or strategies,” added coach Naga Api.
This victory was also able to make Leo/Daniel make history in their careers, which is the first time they have penetrated 10th place in the BWF rankings.
Previously Herry IP also leaked the condition of Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin along with the evaluation for his students.
“Daniel’s left foot is swollen. This is what actually made Danuel’s performance not 100 percent fit to appear in the final. Leo/Daniel will rest for about a month before appearing on the European Tour starting at the German Open (7-12 March), All England (14-19), Swiss Open (21-26 March), Spain Masters (28 March). -2 April), 2023 Orleans Masters (4-9 April).
