Madrid golf recognizes Chacarra and the junior world champions

La Madrid Golf Tribute Gala brought together all Madrid golfers at the Palacio del Negralejo who have achieved national and international notoriety with great victories and outstanding performances.

A recognition applauded by Alberto Tomé, Vice Minister of Sports of the Community of Madrid, which highlighted “the efforts of the winners, whose values ​​are on the roadmap of our sports management, and which, together with the organization of national and international events, have turned the Community of Madrid into a powerful tourist and sports destination for the golf practice.

The sporting success of last season was summed up Ignacio Guerras, president of the Madrid Golf Federation: “A year ago it seemed almost impossible that such a good season could be repeated, but it has been overcome. The The gala also recognized the merits of personalities and entities for the work carried out in the growth of Madrid golf. Gonzaga Escauriaza, president of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, received the FGM Medal of Merit in Golf individually; and the Youth School of the Real Sociedad Hípica Española Club de Campo, with the Medal of Merit in Golf in the institutional section.

Also Special Mentions were awarded to the Lomas-Bosque Golf Club, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of its foundation; to the RACE Sports Complex, for the success and work carried out in the celebration of the Comunidad de Madrid Ladies Open, and Jose Maria Garcia de Paredes, for his work in the management of the CETEMA team, the Technification Center of Madrid, since 2014, and that has reaped so many successes all these years
