Les Bleuets narrowly against Italy

The France U20 team began its Tournament with a narrow success in Treviso (27-28).

Italian rugby is on the rise, including among young people. The France U20 team almost paid dearly this Friday in Treviso, at the opening of the Six Nations Tournament. Sébastien Calvet’s men narrowly beat the Transalpins (27-28) after a high-tension end to the match.

When Alessandro Gesi flattened the fifth Italian try after the siren (80th + 4), the Blueberries probably felt the breath of defeat. But the young Italian opener Andrea Bruniera missed his transformation on the sidelines, depriving his team of the feat. The Italians have never beaten the French in this age category.
