Legitimate defense: the course in Lissone
Yesterday evening, Friday 3 February, the new course in self-defense for women started, organized by the Judo Club Lissone association with the patronage and contribution of the Department of Sport.
A free initiative with both sporting and social implications dedicated to women, aimed at teaching the key concepts of self-defense that can be implemented in case of need.
The mayor was also present at the inaugural lesson of the course Laura Borella and the deputy mayor and councilor for sport John Camarda.

There will be 17 meetings
The course is divided into a total of 17 meetings, Friday from 21.30 to 23, in the gym of the Dante elementary school in via Volturno.
A course strongly desired by the Judo club of Lissone and, for this, I thank the president Casagrande, when sports associations get to work on issues like these, the Administration must support and encourage them with all the means available. Aware that there is still a long way to go to combat the phenomenon of violence against women, the Administration will always do everything in its power, even starting to work on youth policies from a prevention perspective. I would also add that, in agreement with the Administration, the course will double the dates, ie Friday and Tuesday, thus allowing another 40 women to be able to participate.

Lessons held by certified instructors
The lessons will be held by authorized federal technical instructors and will continue until May 26 in the gym of the Dante elementary school in via Volturno.
The course is aimed at developing with the participants the main themes of female self-defense, providing notions and techniques of prevention, attitude and defense useful for avoiding dangerous situations and aggressions.
