The news that shook the last days of the NBA market – it closes on February 9 – is that of Kyrie Irving who has requested the transfer to the Brooklyn Nets.

His expiring contract has not frightened the teams that want to make the definitive leap to the role of contender, but in the end it was the Dallas Mavericks who won in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, the 2029 first pick, as well as two second picks in 2027 and 2029.
The Mavericks also get Markieff Morris, who is also due. Dinwiddie has only 10 million guaranteed next year while Finney-Smith is under contract for another two years with player options for another season.
