The possible signing of Kevin Durant with the Phoenix Suns

For now there is no detailed information on the alleged interest of the Arizona NBA franchise, as it must be remembered that Kevin Durant is still injured; however, since last summer that the Phoenix Suns star would have requested a transfer, but at the end of the day he stayed with the Brooklyn Nets.

One of the great unknowns is the position of the New York team regarding a possible departure of its star, since within the Big Apple team there is an agreement of four seasons in force, of which Kevin Durant barely wears one.

The contract that binds the Brooklyn Nets with ‘Durantula’ has a total cost of $194.2 million dollars. The plans of the New Yorkers was to have Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith on the team as supports for Durant, who despite having a knee sprain, for now is a serious candidate to win the MVP it’s from the season.

This is not the first time that the Arizonans are interested in signing Kevin Durant, because in September of last year, James Jones, general manager of the Phoenix Suns, pointed out during an interview for AZ Central that the Brooklyn Nets did not share the same plan to let go of their star. The firmness of the New Yorkers prevented a move that could now happen, if the chips are moved into the correct positions.
