The Major League Baseball (MLB) Spring Training is the preparation of the teams to define their payrolls and the roles of each player for the future campaign of the best baseball in the world, in this case: 2023.

Well, today, Saturday, February 25, the Texas Rangers fell again against the Kansas City Royals. On this occasion they were defeated by ten runs to five and had Justin Foscue as the main protagonist, batting 2-2 and hitting a solo home run.

This pitcher in an inning and a third of labor received three hits, enough for Kansas to score five runs in the fourth inning and then Antoine Kelly tried to rescue him; but he received two hits so that his rival scored the same number of runs and starred in a lapidary rally of seven “little lines” in inning four.

At that time the challenge was seven to three in favor of the Royals, since in the third inning the Texas managed to score three runs from Bubba Thompson’s bats (two RBIs after hitting a double) and the Dominican Ezequiel Durán who pushed one more also with a double.

Rangers tried to react

In the ninth the Rangers tried to react with Justin Foscue’s home run from 404 feet to left center. Even, Jonathan Ornelas scored for the fifth time in this challenge through Luisangel Acuña’s undisputed, but the difference was too much since Kansas managed to score a run in the fifth, seventh and ninth episode respectively.

It should be noted that Cuban Dairon Blanco saw action today for Los Reales and went 0-for-1 with a strikeout and a walk, in addition to scoring one of the ten runs for his team’s cause.

Tomorrow the Rangers will face the Cleveland Guardians in their third challenge of this Spring Training and will seek to seal their first victory. And although this is not the most important thing, it will serve to maintain an optimal state of mind for the players ahead of March 30, the day MLB 2023 will begin.
