Judo: more than 85 referees in high-level training

The participants come from all the departmental judo leagues and associated disciplines. Until February 18, they will take part in the seminar organized on the theme « How to become a Judo referee “. Organized by the executive office of the Congolese Federation of Judo and associated disciplines (Fécoju-Da), this moment of sharing experiences is called promotion Me Candapaye Marie-Joseph.

The president of Fécoju-Da, Me Francis Neyl Ata Asiokarah, indicated that this course is part of the chronogram of the federation. According to him, arbitration is at the heart of the development of a sports discipline, hence the need to maximize the training of all Congolese judo players.

For his part, the representative of the Director General of Sports, Jean Luc Euloge Olingou, praised the dynamism and the will of the executive office of the federation. He also asked the trainees to take advantage of this moment of sharing experiences to strengthen their capacities and learn the new rules for the good of Congolese judo.

This seminar, which pays tribute to a great name in this combat sport, marks the continuation of federal activities for the year 2023. It is based on theoretical and practical courses, in particular tests on the tatami. During the six days of work, the participants will learn the concepts related to the twelve rules of arbitration, role and missions of a table officer, ethics, the new rules for the cycle of the Olympic Games 2022-2024, the organization of a judo competition and many more.
