Judo for beginners – VHS Hanau

Judo – the gentle way – is the most famous of all Japanese martial arts. The techniques, which are similar to wrestling, are very accommodating to children’s natural urge to move. The risk of injury is below that of many other sports.
Competitions only play a subordinate role for us – the playful learning of sophisticated standing and floor techniques and an extensive technical repertoire are our priority.
Positive side effects such as fairness, increased self-confidence, discipline and a sense of responsibility arise almost automatically.
Six-monthly belt tests give the young judoka the opportunity to prove their skills and acquire the white-yellow or yellow belt.

After 4 weeks a judo suit is required.

Children and parents are cordially invited to drop in on the training session.

The course takes place in the Willi-Rehbein-Sporthalle, Fasaneriestraße 31, 63457 Hanau/Klein-Auheim.
