Gold, silver and bronze medals were won by three of the four teams from Juarez that participated this weekend in the 2023 Conade State Basketball Championship, which took place in the city of Chihuahua.
Ciudad Juárez, Chih.- The president of the Municipal Basketball League in Ciudad Juárez, Alejandro Flores Rodríguez, informed that in the 2005-2006 men’s category, Juarez basketball players obtained a gold medal, in the 2007-2008 women’s category the silver medal and in the 2007-2007 category. 2008 men’s bronze.
He said that the fourth team from Juarez that competed in the 2005-2006 women’s category in a double overtime game, lost when they played for the bronze medal against the Casas Grandes team.
“There was a great participation of the Juárez delegation, we were pleased and pleased that the director of the Municipal Institute of Sports and Physical Culture of Juárez, Juan Escalante, was there in Chihuahua, accompanied us and attended the award ceremony and closure,” he said.

For his part, Jorge Medina, from Ademeba Chihuahua, commented that more than 500 athletes from the regions participated in the sports fair with their selective teams with eight teams in each category of the male and female branch.
