José Luis Pascual faces the Spanish Adapted Golf Championship among the candidates for the positions of honor

José Luis Pascual, a player from the Soria Golf Club, will participate this weekend in the Spanish Adapted Golf Championship, scheduled for February 11 and 12 at the La Torre course in Murcia.

Pascual will be the only male representative of the Castilla y León Golf Federation in the tournament. By handicap of play -5.1-, the golfer from Soriano has the second best record of all the participants, only surpassed by Antonio Llerena from Castellón, five times champion of Spain, for which a priori Pascual starts as one of the candidates for the positions of honor. The fourth place obtained last year has been the best classification achieved in the tournament by José Luis Pascual.

This will be the thirteenth edition of the Spanish Adapted Golf Championship, which, as usual, will be divided into two simultaneous competitions: the Spanish Adapted Golf Championship itself and the Spanish Cup. The first will take place under the 36-hole Stroke Play format and will be played by players with a handicap of up to 18.4 in possession of the Medical Pass, while the second is reserved for golfers with a handicap equal to or greater than 18.4 (or with a lower handicap but without a Medical Pass ) and will be held by the Stableford system, also at 36 holes. In total, 49 players from different parts of the Spanish geography will gather (24 in the Spanish Championship and 25 in the Spanish Cup) who will take part in the tournament.
